It’s hard to go wrong with sharp edge resin dice with a good font

Name: Sharp Edge Frosted Blue resin set
Description: This is a standard set of seven sharp edge opaque medium to dark blue resin dice. They look like unpolished sea glass as they have a little bit of a hazy / dusty look to them. The d4 is the “Shard” shape instead of the traditional tetrahedron (3 sided pyramid). The font used is almost identical to Autor but the zero is a circle instead of an upright ‘0’. The numbers are carved in the faces and inked in white. The 6 and 9 faces use underbars to indicate their orientation. The d10s have sharp edged waists.

Mushroom #16: 7 + 15 = 22 FAIL!: Ate a bad mushroom. 15 dmg
After taking 108 poison damage the ranger dies from the mushrooms that she just can’t help eating when she’s wandering in the forest. The poisoned condition made her roll at disadvantage and really affected her ability to tell good from bad mushrooms.

Final Thoughts: I love the look of my other set of “sea glass” dice from Everything Dice (post #87 “Walking On Broken Glass”). This set is a much more standard down-to-earth set of sea glass dice with standard shapes (except for the shart d4) and all of the dice are the same medium to dark blue color with just the slightest white finish on them to give the sea-glass effect. I feel like the sea glass white finish will begin to rub off as the dice are used. I’m totally fine with that. They’ll still look great.
There’s really not any faults I can find with these dice. The quality is good, the font is very good and readable. The Edges are nice and sharp, they’re a good standard size and the weight is good for resin dice. All of this for the low price of $23 from Viridian. If these came in other colors I’d probably buy them all. These even came in a nice (probably faux) leather case with foam inserts and a window.
I bought this set to see how nice they were in-person and to offer them up to a lucky winner at my in-person D&D game as we’ve been doing on occasion lately. I love giving out nice dice to people.
** Chi-square is a calculation used to test whether your data is as expected. The basic idea behind the test is to compare the observed values (the results of my 100 roll test) to the expected values. (what you would see if a d20 landed on each number with the exact same frequency) and compare the two results to determine whether a die is balanced in this case.
