What’s red and green and gorgeous all over? These sharp-edge resin dice of course

Name: Red and Green Sharp Edge Dice
Description: This is a standard-size set of sharp edge resin dice. They are clear resin with some large red patches and have green/gold holofoil inclusions. This gives the appearance of them being red and green. The numbers use a very simple font that looks like it’s Futura but I’m guessing there’s some subtle difference with the Font so that they don’t have to pay for font licensing for every set of dice they sell. The 6 and 9 faces use square dots to indicate their orientation and the d10 and d% have edged waists like every other set of sharp-edge resin dice.. These dice are available in roughly a billion different colors / color combinations. Given that number I have shockingly few sets of sharp-edge resin dice in comparison. I better get to it and buy more in other colors.
Size:
d20: (Face->Face) 21.65 mm (Point->Point) 26.6mm
Where did they come from: No idea. I’d guess Dark Elf Dice but I don’t have a receipt.
How much did they cost: $40 ? $45? somewhere in this ballpark
Material / color: Clear resin with red dye and gold/green holofoil inclusions
Quality: Excellent. Clean lines, no scratches/smudges/mold lines.
Readability: Very good to excellent. Great from 4 feet away, great from 8 feet away if the number has a red background. Not so great if the number has just holofoil inclusion background.
Value: Very good value if they’re in that price range.
Overall Rating: 9/10

Casting Vitriolic Sphere at 9th level…
You point at a location within range, and a glowing, 1-foot-diameter ball of emerald acid streaks there and explodes in a 20-foot-radius sphere. Each creature in that area must make a Dexterity saving throw. On a failed save, a creature takes 10d4 acid damage and another 5d4 acid damage at the end of its next turn. On a successful save, a creature takes half the initial damage and no damage at the end of its next turn.
At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 5th level or higher, the initial damage increases by 2d4 for each slot level above 4th.
On a failed saving throw: Each target takes 56 acid damage initially and an additional 10 acid damage at the end of their next turn.
On a successful saving throw: Each target takes 28 acid damage initially and no additional damage at the end of their next turn.
(This is another excuse for rolling dice)
Random Tables rolls:
Dwarven Features/Quirks: 28 – Keeps a record of the giants they’ve killed with notches in their axe or war hammer handle. (Can be any other type of creature.)
Small Familiars: 47 – A finger sized eldritch deity that gives +2 necrotic dmg to the PC’s attacks, as well as a 10% chance to cause madness to the target of a PC’s spell for 1d4 turns. A pact must be made with it to help it seize power of a realm.

Final Thoughts:
Zero complaints about this set of sharp-edge resin dice. They’re everything a set of resin dice should be. The green/gold holofoil color really pops in the light and contrasts beautifully with the dark red resin that is primarily on the low side of the dice. Their edges and vertices are very sharp, which I’d expect of any good set of sharp-edge resin dice. These roll pretty well, this is the first set where the median for 50 rolls was > 11.0. It’ll be interesting to see how these roll in-game.
The 20 face along with the other high faces are all on the holofoil side of each die which makes it hard to read these faces with the gold numbering and the gold holofoil and it very slightly takes away from the splendor of this nice, nice set. (yes, that’s two “nices”)
I don’t have much to say about this set of dice that hasn’t been said already about several other very similar Sharp Edge Resin sets. There’s a good reason why I’m buying so many sets of this type of dice: because they’re gorgeous to look at and they feel good to roll. The sharp edges make them look neat and they don’t fumble around when rolled. I have many sets of these and I’m sure I’ll buy many more if dice makers continue to make them in pretty colorways or add neat inclusions into them.
You (reader) really need to get in on these dice. Set your Chessex or “17 sets of DND dice for $25” garbage rocks aside and pick up a set or two of these. You’ll never regret it. It’s my soapbox and I’m going to stand on it and sing the praises of Sharp Edge Resin dice.
