How can you not love a set of sharp edge resin dice with glitter

Name: Liquid Sharp Edge Pink Glitter Magic House Dice
Description: A set of sharp edge resin dice in clear resin with liquid centers and pink glitter inside them. The dice use a fairly standard TNR-adjacent font inked in silver. The 6 and 9 faces have underbars to indicate orientation. The d10s have edged waists as almost all sharp-edge resin sets have. The d4 in this set is the “crystal” shape instead of the standard pyramid shape, and it’s slightly larger than other crystal-shaped d4s in other sets that I’ve reviewed. I strongly prefer the slightly bigger size for the d4.
Size:
d20: (Face->Face) 22.8mm (Point->Point) 28.6mm
Where did they come from: Lost Star Tabletop Gaming (support your local game stores!)
How much did they cost: $50
Material / color: Clear resin with liquid cores and pink glitter inside
Quality: Very good. Almost no flaws / dings / sloppy inking.
Readability: Surprisingly good for clear dice with silver ink. They passed the 8-foot-away rug roll test. The pink glitter really helps the visibility
Value: Very good. $50 for a set of liquid core sharp edge dice is a great value.
Overall Rating: 9/10

Final Thoughts: This isn’t a set of dice that I normally would have purchased but my youngest child was with me in my local game store. She asked if she could have them because they’re pink and glittery, and because she’s a dice goblin like I am. I’m often looking for ways to support my local game store, so of course I’ll buy them for her. She love them, I’m a cool dad, end of story right?
Seriously though, these are pretty nice dice. I have a few sets of pink dice already and a ton of sharp edge resin sets so I’m not on the look-out for more dice that are either sharp edge or pink but these are good quality and they have the pretty silt / fine glitter with little bits of green holofoil mixed in instead of the confetti size glitter that looks like garbage. I rarely ever see a set of good sharp-edge resin dice for < $45, so a set with liquid centers for $50? That’s a pretty good deal. They even came in a small metal can with a protective foam insert.
The pink glitter with the green flecks of holofoil looks really good when it catches the light. They’re a nice (slightly larger than standard) size and the numbers stand out well against the pink background. I would definitely buy additional sets of these if I found them in other colors. As your dice-goblin lawyer, I’d advise you to do the same.
Speaking of that, when is the last time you stopped by your local game store and looked for something that you could spend your hard-earned money on to help make sure that the store continues to exist? You and I both know that their margins are razor thin and the owner and half the staff are being underpaid because it’s the only way the store can survive. There aren’t exactly franchise local game stores around who have a parent company to help them survive lean times. Head over to your local shop on a Friday or Saturday afternoon to check out what’s new and do them a favor and buy something.
