Silver and blue go together so well, especially on sharp edge metal math rocks

Name: Spellbound Metal 7 Die Set
Description: This is a standard size set of nearly-sharp edge metal dice. They are gray unpainted lightly brushed metal. The numbers are inked in a teal/turquoise color. The font is very basic/plain style font that I couldn’t identify, perhaps because it’s too plain. No serifs or little balls on the ends of any of the numbers. no flag on the 1 but there is a flag on the 3. The curves on the dice are very smooth. The 6 and 9 faces use small dots to indicate their orientation. The d10 and d% have sharply edged waists. They came in a plastic case as many Chessex dice sets do. They’re simple versions of metal dice.

Final Thoughts:
I really like the color of this set. I have a chonk d20 that’s the same color that I’ve always liked so seeing a full set in this color at $32 was a very easy sell. Of course I’m taking these, they match that big d20 that I like. The simplicity of these dice is also very enjoyable to me. They’re just lightly brushed metal with a light blue/teal ink in the indented numbers. No fancy enamel or shapes cast into or added onto the shapes. Sometimes simplicity can work so well.
Now, the numbers use a very basic font, so basic that I can’t find it in my font-finder website. No flags on any of the dice, and elbows on the 3s? Strange combination. The numbers are nice and big on all of the dice except for the d20, where they feel a bit small (make your d20s bigger dice makers!) and there are a few numbers that are a little smudged on the d20 only. This hampers the readability of the d20. Luckily I’m making nearly all of my rolls right in front of me in my dice tray and not 8 feet away.
The d20 is also very bouncy when I’m rolling it on a pad of paper next to me at my desk where I’m writing this. While I prefer dice that don’t bounce, and just settle quickly onto their final side when rolled, this isn’t a big deal or really anything worth writing about… strike that last paragraph.
Overall, this set has very clean lines and the silver/gray and light blue/teal is a fantastic color combination for just about anything. For the price, these dice, as basic as they are, should be bought up as fast as you can get your hands on them. Unless you’re the snobbiest of dice goblins, you should have a set of basic classic dice like this. I can’t think of too many more color combinations that work as well as silver/light blue.
